He has experience in creating and strengthening innovation ecosystems in various types of regions in the Czech Republic. A visionary with a deep insight into the European innovation environment. As Director of MSIC, he is in daily contact with companies, finding ways to support their growth and that of the entire business environment in the Moravian-Silesian Region and elsewhere.

Vojtěch Nosek

CEO & Co-Founder UNICO

He specializes in intellectual property issues, primarily from the perspective of successful business exploitation. He has over 10 years of experience in implementing technological innovations, connecting companies with universities and ensuring the effectiveness of their cooperation. He acts as an expert in setting up national and international innovation ecosystems, for example for The World Bank or TAČR.

Zdeněk Hušek,

RIS3 manager of the Ústí Region

At the Innovation Centre of the Ústí Region (ICUK), he makes use of his more than twenty years of managerial experience in research and technology transfer acquired both from major companies and research organisations. He is a team leader of the Regional Innovation Strategy of the Ústí Region, chaired the Supervisory Board of the Technology Centre in Hradec Králové, and is a member of executive boards of several companies.
Innovation and R&D are not only his job, but also his hobby.

Jan Wedlich

Business Development Manager, ​ICUK

He started working for the Innovation Centre of the Ústí Region as a business incubator manager in 2019, and is currently in charge of the entire business development sector in ICUK. He gained his experience in managerial positions at the global company Malfini, and at the startup Liftago. In his work, he is in daily contact with startups and SMEs in the Ústí Region, and together with the entire business and innovation support team at ICUK, helps innovative companies and projects in the Ústí Region.

Ing. Rut Bízková

Rut Bízková is a manager and former politician who served as Minister of the Environment and Chair of the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic. She is known for her interest in the environment and her support of science and research in the Czech Republic.
